Scottsdale-Fountain Hills AZ Golf

The Radisson Fort McDowell Resort and Casino has it all – even an on-site 36-hole golf course! The We-Ko-Pa is owned by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation. In addition to the two 18-hole courses there is a large practice facility and a full service clubhouse. The original 18-hole Cholla Course opened in December 2001. The second Saguaro Course opened December 16, 2006.

The 7,225 yard course was named by Sports Illustrated as one of the 10 best new public courses in the world shortly after its opening. Zagat Survey 2006-2007 rated Cholla with the highest rating among all Arizona courses and Golfweek ranks the course on its 2006 list of the state’s best public courses. Saguaro Course
The new Saguaro Course at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club opened on december 16, 2006.The 6,912 yard course was named one of the "Top 10 Best New Courses you can play" in the U.S. - GOLF Magazine, January 2007.   .

We-Ko-Pa Clubhouse
Inspired by the Yavapai culture, the We-Ko-Pa clubhouse features a “desert vernacular” styling with unique detail that draw inspiration from the surrounding desert landscape. The clubhouse provides spectacular views of the McDowell Mountains, Red Mountain, Four Peaks and the Superstitions.

The public areas of the clubhouse offer 10,000 square feet of space divided into two areas, each with a large open patio. The north side of the building contains the golf shop retail and administrative areas along with restrooms and lounge areas. The south side contains the dining areas, kitchen, support offices, a bar and large function room.

Practice Facility
We-Ko-Pa Golf Club offers a full service practice facility that includes practice balls, a large area for short game, fairway and greenside practice bunkers as well as a large putting green. There is a daily fee of $15 for the use of the practice facility.
